K2 Care Ltd is a Care Agency, aiming to provide quality care and support services to the varied communities of the Peterborough and its surrounding areas.  We are an organisation that aims to cement its place in the care provision market in Peterborough.

 

Why call ourselves K2? The K2  Mountain, is the second highest mountain in the world, however it is recognised at being the ultimate climbing challenge. Only people with the most dedication, talent, and ability are willing to take on this challenge. As with these people, our staff illustrate the same level of dedication, talent, and ability. As with the mountain itself K2 Care does not aim to be the biggest in anything, simply the best in everything.   

 

The concept behind K2 Care developed after personal experiences of having a family member developing a long term illness and an ever increasing reliance on care services. This actual care service provided was adequate but there was a clear need for a effective care service which not only meets the immediate physical needs of the client but also is tailored to their language, cultural and religious preferences.

 

At K2 we aim to provide this very intimate service with employees who are familiar with these cultural, linguistic and religious desires and all Care is provided in a manor, that shows respect and understanding for these personal requirements.

 

K2 Care Ltd believes in and actively strives to help promote full lives of our clients. Our aim is to offer the highest level of dedicated care delivered with compassion and understanding. All of our work is carried out with the view to encouraging independence while maintaining the highest levels of dignity and privacy.

 

K2 Care will strive to constantly deliver high quality, cost effective services aimed at enabling service users to achieve independence in their own homes.  

 

K2 Care Ltd is a limited company, based in the centre of Peterborough; the structure of the business is such that any concerns, queries or issues raised are dealt with promptly, with the clients and their primary carers being put into the centre of our services.

 

Any services, procedures, processes we employ are all governed by our in-house best practice policy and inspected and appraised on a periodical basis by the Commission for Social Care Inspection.
